PMA: Fill A Need

You want to have more traffic to your website. You know that having more traffic, when directed wisely, can lead you to having more success as an Internet marketer. But you ask yourself: “How do I do this? How can I get people to come to my web site and what can I do to translate this into more dollars in my pocket?” We have been exploring some of the ways to generate traffic to your web site and the role that having a positive mental attitude can assist you in having a greater degree of success in your online endeavors. The answers are out there, the challenge is that those gems of knowledge are sometimes hidden deep within writings of those who are already enjoying a great deal of success. In a nutshell, if you find a need and supply the solution to fulfilling that need (whether it is through the creation of your own product or being an affilliate for a product) will transition a web “browser” into a buyer. The person on the other end will be happy and loyal that you have provided this service to them and you will be rewarded as well.  Let me state that again:

Find a need out there that others desire to have fulfilled, offer a solution, and you will be rewarded.

It isn’t the easiest thing in the world. You have to research (and you thought that once you were done with school you didn’t have to do any thinking again - WRONG!), you have to put time and effort into your endeavor (if you put nothing into your effort to drive Internet traffic, you get exactly that: NOTHING!), look at what others are doing successfully and use those same techniques yourself.

You CAN be successful, but you have to take ACTION to be successful.

Have a GREAT day!

Easy Profits From Having A Website?

I can seem like it is easy in hindsight. I love to read all of the advertisements about how you can easily make money on the Internet by having your own website. Of course you need to get a good domain name and one of the best ways that I have found is by doing a free search at godaddy. But there is more to it than just that. Just because you have a good degree doesn’t mean that opportunities are just going to flood your mailbox, your inbox of your email, or calls on your voicemail. You actually have to work at it.  Of course, the harder you work, the more reward that you will realize.

I said that you have to work hard, but really it should read the smarter that you work, the more rewards you will reap. You have to be open to new ideas because the strategies that you have been using may not be the strategies that work well. Here are some ideas:

* Copy Others - You were probably taught in school that it is wrong to copy. I am not talking about stealing things word-for-word (plagiarism), but notice what the successful Internet marketers are doing out there and incorporated the style that they use into your plan.

* Sometime You Gotta Pay -  Realize that not everything is free. Don’t spend without thinking about what you are paying for. You can pay to get traffic by doing a Pay-Per-Click campaign, and that may be what you have to do to get traffic in the first few months. There are a lot of free ways to get traffic, and it is best to explore those first.

* Be Flexible - If you keep doing the same thing over and over again and you get the same results, there is no chance that if you do it more that your results will change. You’ll just become exhausted sooner. Be willing to take suggestions on how you can improve your products, how you can improve your traffic, how you can become more savvy on you Internet quest for money.

Emulation, valuation, and flexibility.  These will help lead to your success! Have a GREAT day!

There may be a hidden source of wealth inside you that is just waiting to be discovered. You may find that writing articles for ezinearticles will serve multiple purposes.

* It will serve as an ongoing stream of visitors to your website. You are allowed to mention your website or blog in the resource box. The nice thing is that people that copy your article are supposed to include your resource box in their “copy” so the word will get spread around nicely.

* Article writing will hone your writing abilities if they need honing. Personally, I have always enjoyed writing things and this was a perfect opportunity for me to do so.

* Ezinearticles.com has a plethera of useful information for perfecting your writing. It’s free. Free is good.

Currently, I have been writing an eBook about one of my passions: saving money. Tentatively, it is set for release on June 14, 2009. You can sign up for the newsletter on the right side of this page. As you cater to your niche, you will find that you spend a lot of time researching that niche and learning a lot of information. Why not share that information with other with both free information and with a more in-depth book that you have offered.  Writing an eBook doesn’t require a publisher and there is no physical product involved, so there is no inventory that you have to worry about.

The Internet has changed how businesses are now different from their brick-and-morter forerunners. Change with the business changes and make a little bit of money for your life in the process!

Have a GREAT DAY! Here is to YOUR success!!

You Gotta Give to Get

In creating traffic to your website, it is best to be willing to give traffic to other sites.  A fair amount of time is spent each week looking at other sites that have similar themes and ideas that my blogs have.  I read to see what others have to say and I comment on their writing.  The reasons are multiple:

* By commenting on the other sites, the webmasters will often reply or visit your site.  Remember that traffic = $$$.  You can have the ost excellent website in the world, but if nobody knows about it, how will you profit.  It is like having the most exquisite restaurant in the world that nobody has ever visited.  The food may be out of this world, but if you never have any visitors or customers, you won’t be able to stay in business for very long.

* You will see the trends that are developing out there.  If you only  look at trends that interest you and you only, you may be the only one that ever is interested in what you have to say.  Try looking at what is happening out there.  Don’t be cause by surprised if something exciting happens and you fail to notice because you failed to look beyond yourself.

* You have the ability to network with others.  You can share ideas, learn tips and trade “secrets”, even develop future business contacts.  Don’t live in a fortress and let nobody in.

* You can receive criticism.  Sometimes it takes another opinion to show where you lack.  I welcome all criticism because I look at it as a way to grow into a more empathetic writer.  Maybe you should too!

Keep in mind that there are a lot of hungry souls out there that can provide you with some of your greatest ideas for making more money for your life.  Some will use that to get out of the shackles of debt while others may use the money for pleasure.  Remember that money is only a tool, it is not evil unless somebody uses it to be evil.

Let me know what you think, and here’s to a successful life! (you can even visit my blog to learn about saving money)

Do The Research, Baby!

When starting an online presence, you need to do a little bit of research.  That is, of course, if you want to be successful an have traffic come to your site.  There are many things to research when searching for a subject to cater to (and with so many specialized interests out there, you can find a niche that would cater to just about anybody).  These include (but are certainly not limited to):

* Number of people that are looking for a particular subject.  For example, if you were wondering how many searches there were for searching for pomeranians, simply go to Google, type in the search word “pomeranians” and google will quickly return 599,000 results. That’s a lot of different searches for a little dog.  And some people do not like or are afraid of dogs.

* Read the blogs.  This is another no-brainer in that you would go to Google, type in your subject followed by a space and the word “blog”.  Chances are you will get several results.  If there are very few results pulled from your search, that either tells you that there is no market for your subject or that you may have more exclusivity in that market.

* If you are looking to sell a physical product, try going to Yahoo!Shopping, there you will find your product, what the average price will be and, depending on the number of results, how saturated your market is going to be.  Chances are that if there is a big market for something, there will be room for you to be in there and start making your own online money.

Be diligent, be thorough, be excited!  This is a great time to be able to start your own online business, but you have to work smart in order to succeed.  Next time, Creating Traffic.

A Bit of a Preview

To get ahead financially you essentially have to make more than you spend.  One of the ways is by saving money.  You can get ahead by making what salary you happen to be on (unless it is just minimum wage cleaning bathrooms in a call center, and yes I have done that).  You can get ahead by bettering yourself through conscious effort, going back to school, working toward a promotion, etc.

One thing that has exploded in popularity is internet marketing, finding a niche and coming up with a solution to meet that niche’s particular desires.  I know you have seen the emails saying that you can make $1,000 a day using Internet Marketing and Sales.  Can you?  Of course.  Will you?  Not without a lot of hard work.  And there is nothing wrong with hard work.  I have been there and I have explored some of the hype andd found that some of it is true, but there is also a lot of untruth out there.  A lot of it boils down to desire.

There is a difference in stating that you’d like to have more money and stating that you will have more money.  Feel the difference?  One has a whimsical feeling to it while the second has a air of definitiveness of purpose.  I will be sharing with you in the soon-to-be-here future what has worked for me and what may work for you.  I will keep it real.  Those who knew me a generation ago will recall that I was a teacher, but there was more to life than the subject which I taught.  I knew that, and they knew that I knew that as well.  I am still a teacher, just allow me to open your eyes and teach you as well.

The “B” Word

One of the things that really kept me from succeeding financially was a lack of budget. It wasn’t like the “old days” in which people played “beat the bank” with deposits and check writing (this is where you write a check on an account that doesn’t have the money in it at the time, but you know that you will be able to deposit into your account before the check that you wrote will go through the clearinghouse), but it was similar. I used my checking account to pay the major bills like rent/mortgage, utilities, car payments, etc., but nowhere did I have a written plan to ensure that I wasn’t living beyond my means. This lifestyle gives credence to the adage that if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.

During my first round with credit card debt, I sought the help of Consumer Credit Counseling, a not-for-profit organization that negotiated terms with your credit cards. They would schedule an appointment with you for you to go over what you spend each month, and let me tell you, they were extremely thorough in expenses. When I had completed my survey of what I usually spent my money on, they worked with me to set up a budget. Included in that budget was an amount that I sent them each month to pay down my debt for me…more information can be found in future blogs.

Credit Card Debt

Oftentimes, when it comes to having debt pile up on a credit card, people don’t like to recognize the problem. This is the first step.  In successful12-step programs (such as Alcoholics Anonymous), the first step is always to just acknowledge that there is a problem that you have a challenge with credit card debt. This is quite frequently the biggest  stumbling block for someone who is seeing their credit card debt begin to control their very  lives.
The credit card companies will not assist you with this dilemma. They have the agenda of assisting you to accumulate increasing amounts of debt…and at your expense. It isn’t necessarily that they nasty or evil, but large consumer debt is their way of making money. The exorbitant money that the credit card companies make for the interest that you pay for your credit card debt (not to mention all of the accumulating fees) is cash that  goes to pay  corporate executives of these credit card companies and fund their luxurious lifestyle: houses, cars, jets, extravagant vacations. The audacity of these actions could make you want to extinguish the  (allegedly legal) scam that is a disease named credit card debt.

Let’s not beat around the bush.  Call it what it is:  Credit card debt is a high interest loan that doesn’t require you to fill out any lengthy forms beside the initial form to get the card. Once they issue a card to you, the credit card companies are more than happy to jack up your credit limit, which allows you to purchase more thing (and they will creep up the interest rate as well). Before long the debt level is astronomical and you continue to send them hundreds of dollars which is mostly interest and fees.
